Vision

1- That the department be among the most distinguished engineering departments at the level of Iraqi universities in preparing its students to work in the state’s health institutions, and be an effective element and a distinguished link between engineering and medicine, in coordination with the Ministry of Health and international research centers to keep pace with the qualitative development in the field of biomedical engineering.

2- Striving to make the department at Ashur University College a world leader in the field of biomedical engineering.

3- Making faculty, staff and students essential members of work teams that provide radical solutions to research, design, and management problems in the field of biomedical engineering.

4- Striving for excellence in university education, conducting meaningful and innovative research, and community service dedicated to advancing the field of biomedical engineering.

5- Introducing doctoral and master’s studies that serve the community in the field of biomedical engineering.

6- Working on building classrooms for students and more modern laboratories to meet the requirements of the growing department.
