4th International Conference on Engineering Sciences
Today, Wednesday, 2024/5/15, the Fourth International Conference on Engineering Sciences was opened in the conference hall at Al-Nahrain University, which will last for two days under the title (Energy Engineering, Environment and Climate Change). The conference was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul Dhahid, the President of Ashur University, Prof. Dr. Kazim Abboud Al-Majidi, a number of deans of engineering colleges and professors, and the Secretary of the Ashur University Council.
The conference opened its first day with a speech by the conference sponsor, followed by a speech by the Chairman of the Scientific Committee, then a speech by the President of Al-Nahrain University, followed by a speech by the Chairman of the Preparatory Committee. Ashur University, Al-Isra University, and the University of Birmingham, Britain, participated in the conference.
The conference included several axes in which representatives of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry of Environment, and Al-Nahrain University spoke.
In addition to the conference work, the Patent Exhibition, the Research Products Exhibition, and the Artistic Products Exhibition were opened. The conference will continue its work tomorrow, Thursday, 2024/5/16, in the halls of Ashur University at ten in the morning, and professors from Ashur University will participate in managing its sessions.
