Human relations management and the problem of employee absenteeism in the organization

The College of Administration and Economics - Department of Business Administration held a workshop on Wednesday 12/6/2024 entitled (Human Relations Management and the Problem of Employee Absenteeism in the Institution) presented by Ms. Asmaa Qasim Ghanem, a lecturer in the Department of Business Administration, and attended by a number of deans of colleges, the Head of the Department of Business Administration, and a number of lecturers and students. During the workshop, human relations and their relationship to the employee's commitment to attendance were addressed, because human relations within the institution have a great impact in making the employee more committed and present to attendance. The workshop also addressed absences, their types, causes, and how to address them, because absences of all kinds affect the work environment and its development. The lecturer also stressed that the phenomenon of frequent absences that may occur in an institution must be addressed through the Labor Law, which includes penalties of all kinds.
