College Board meeting
The Assyrian University College Council held its regular meeting (the fifth session) headed by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Kazem Abboud Issa Al-Majidi, on Sunday, 5/2/2021, in the presence of all the council members.
At the beginning of the meeting, the respected dean congratulated the attendees on the occasion of the month of obedience and faith, the blessed month of Ramadan, calling on the Almighty to protect everyone from all harm.
On the occasion of the start of the second semester, the Dean gave his directions regarding what is required during this semester, stressing the following:
The department heads hold periodic meetings in which the lessons are distributed among the teachers, follow up on student affairs, overcome obstacles if any, and follow up students while they attend electronic and attendance lectures, according to the form issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Studies and Planning.
Emphasizing the approval of the examination results and distributing them to the students.
Urging students not to be absent in order to reach the highest academic levels.
- The Dean affirmed that the heads of departments visit the electronic platforms and send the parking forms for that to the Deanship and provide it with the study schedules in an accurate and clear form, electronically and on paper.
- Each section prepares a database and information for all aspects related to the department's work.
Emphasis on the full supervision of the heads of departments over the scientific laboratories.
- Emphasis on issuing the necessary administrative orders for students ’absences after being recorded on the college’s electronic system. Failure orders may not be issued for absence except after issuing the initial and final warnings.
Urging students to fully adhere to the directives of the Health Crisis Cell and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to wear masks and social distancing in order to preserve the health of students and teachers.
After that, the agenda was discussed and appropriate actions were taken regarding what was stated in it.
