Ashur University College Council meeting
The Assyrian University College Council held its third periodic meeting for the academic year 2022-2023 on Wednesday 14/12/2022 headed by the Honorable Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Kazem Abboud Al-Majidi, in the presence of the members of the Council. At the beginning of the meeting, the Honorable Dean congratulated Professor Dr. Presidency of the Department of Life Sciences in the college, after which the Dean made some observations and directives regarding the conduct of the teaching and educational process in the college, and they stated:
1- Emphasizing the follow-up of teachers and lecturers by the heads of departments.
2- Follow-up of students’ attendance by the committees formed in this regard in the departments and raise a position to the deanship about absent students who are not enrolled in the college, especially first-stage students.
3- Emphasizing that professors publish scientific research in reputable journals.
4- Provide a position on conducting monthly and quarterly exams and preparing for calendar exams in relation to the departments covered by them.
5- Complete the curriculum vitae of the new teachers to upload it to the college website.
6- Activating the role of educational and psychological counseling committees to take their role among students due to their importance in addressing students’ problems, if any.
After presenting the observations, the topics on the agenda were discussed and appropriate decisions were taken.
