Seminar on violence against women

In the presence of the Dean of the Assyrian University College, the respected Assistant Professor Dr. Kazem Abboud Al-Majidi, the Women’s Empowerment Unit in the college organized a symposium entitled (Violence against Women) under the supervision of the Unit Officer M. M. Amal Mahmoud and the presentation of Ms. Aya Al-Jumaili, Media and Relations Officer at Al-Bayan Center for Studies and Planning. The symposium dealt with Which was attended by the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Qassem, and a number of heads of departments and teachers. They explained many axes that dealt with violence against women, including the types of violence practiced against women, and the attitude of society and the law towards this violence. At the end of the symposium, which included many questions, the respected Dean presented A certificate of appreciation for the lecturer for her efforts in presenting the symposium.
