In the presence of the Dean of the University College of Ashur, the esteemed Assistant Professor Dr. Kazem Aboud Al-Majidi, the Honorable Mr. Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Qassem Al-Lami, presented on Monday 7/11/2022 an explanatory lecture entitled (Instructions for Scientific Promotions) that included a detailed presentation of the conditions for scientific promotion according to the decision of the Ministry Higher Education and Scientific Research No. 167 for the year 2017, which is currently implemented by public and private universities, and during the lecture, the required controls and attachments were explained when submitting an application or file for scientific promotion by the teaching staff, as well as an explanation of the application of the attached tables and paragraphs required to implement these instructions. The lecture was attended by the heads of departments and teachers. After the lecture, the Dean gave some directions regarding the nature of submitting the promotion request, in addition to emphasizing the submission of research, which is an important part of the promotion requirements. He also emphasized the heads of departments to check the documents required by the promotion applicant before submitting them to the Central Promotions Committee. Some questions from the attendees were answered.
