Ashur University College Council meeting
The Council of Ashur University College held its second periodic meeting for the academic year 2023/2022 on Saturday, corresponding to October 29, 2022, headed by the Dean of the College, the esteemed Assistant Professor Dr. Kazem Abboud Al-Majidi. Concern for the educational process in the college.
1- Emphasis on the attendance of students inside the classrooms and follow-up of attendance and absence daily by the teachers and giving a position to the head of the department with absentees.
2- Follow up on the college website by the heads of departments and provide it with information, CVs and scientific activities carried out by faculty members, especially published research.
3- Commitment to the university calendar scheduled for 15 weeks for the first semester and 15 weeks for the second semester and urging professors to complete the academic curriculum and follow up the implementation of the evaluation by the heads of departments.
4- Follow up on the needs of laboratories and the necessity of maintaining them due to their importance for students.
5- During his frequent visits to the college buildings, the Dean confirmed that the heads of departments formed a committee to follow up the cleanliness of laboratories, classrooms and corridors for each department.
6- Giving the heads of departments the importance of the subjects that are included in the assessment exams for the departments of dentistry, pharmacy and medical laboratory techniques.
7- Emphasis on the fact that the heads of departments should search for the teachers to publish research in the sober fields, since the publication of research is one of the measures of the sobriety of the college.
8- The necessity of continuing to hold meetings of departmental councils and scientific committees in each department at least twice a month.
