Ashur University College is one of the colleges recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, according to its book No. 6492 on 9/18/2017. It enlists health professionals No. 6 of 2000. The college is also subject to the National Higher Education Law No. 25 of 2016. In order to increase scientific sobriety, the college worked on twinning its departments with the corresponding departments in universities and government colleges.

Students of the Departments of Dentistry and Pharmacy at Ashur University College participated in the assessment exams approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for students of public and private universities, and this is evidence of the sobriety of studying in private colleges.
The University of Ashur College, which is developing itself day after day, is in the process of completing the procedures for transferring to Ashur University when it moves to its new location (the University City) near Al-Muthanna Airport Street in the center of the capital, Baghdad.
The college obtained the ISO 9001 certificate in 2018, and this certificate is internationally recognized, and it is one of the few colleges that obtained it.
