Speech of the Dean of Ashur University College on the occasion of the start of the new academic year

With a high ambition to reach our students to the highest levels of scientific and academic progress, Ashur College opened the university after obtaining the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under its book No. 6492 on 9/18/2017 as a distinguished scientific edifice that depends on sharing and exchanging experiences with distinguished Iraqi, Arab and international universities in the midst of an academic system A discreet Iraqi with long experience. One of the tasks of the University College of Assur is to develop the Iraqi scientific and academic reality and to provide it with the latest methods and requirements of international university teaching to prepare scientifically distinguished graduates. Therefore, the college has taken upon itself to contribute to changing the Iraqi university reality in a way and an approach taken from the method of twinning with Iraqi universities. And globalization is our way to radically change the teaching reality and to employ the most efficient professors with higher scientific titles.
Ashur University College started when it was opened with three departments: pharmacy, civil engineering and pathological analysis. But day by day the ambition to provide scientific services to students increased. To (12) scientific and human departments, and our ambition is greater and broader to add new departments next year, God willing. The college has also witnessed, and in a short period of time, a great development in the field of modern laboratories and medical clinics, in addition to the biggest achievement, which is building an integrated college according to the latest specifications of building international colleges, which are located on The land of Al-Muthanna Airport in the heart of the capital, Baghdad, with an area of (25) acres.
My brothers, the teaching and administrative staff, my students, God Almighty has decreed that we meet in a new academic year to continue what we started years ago because studying is the greatest value that a person must not neglect, for knowledge is the safest way to achieve great dreams. With prestige and dignity, knowledge is the message of the prophets and messengers with which they brought people out of darkness into light, and here you are our dear students in the path of science that deserves your attention, appreciation and concern. Her honey is science and knowledge, and she has witnessed success and excellence.
