College Board Meeting
The Council of Ashur University College held its eighth regular meeting for the academic year 2021-2022 headed by the Dean of the Ashur University College, Assistant Professor Dr.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean welcomed the attendees, wishing them and their families health and safety. The meeting began by discussing the directive of the Ministry of Higher Education to send the names of the departments proposed to be opened for five years and as soon as possible. After discussing the directive, a number of sections were agreed upon after the council approved them and sent them to the ministry. After that, the Dean touched on some directives that serve the educational process in the college. They were as follows:
1- Due to the approaching end of the current academic year, it is necessary to inform all teachers of the work to complete the curricula established according to the university calendar of the twinning colleges.
2- Working on conducting all the required exams and completing the annual pursuit grades and announcing them to students two weeks before the start of the final exams.
3- Preparing and arranging the exam schedules in a manner consistent with the exam halls, and submitting the proposed schedules to the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs for the purpose of completing schedules for all departments.
4- Complete all the exam requirements for the practical side.
5 - Urging the teachers to complete the delivery of the exam questions on the scheduled time.
6- Seeing the department’s proposals regarding submitting the exams on 6/5/2022 and after obtaining the approval of the Ministry.
7- Complete all the requirements of the assessment exams.
After the directives, the topics on the meeting's agenda were raised, discussed, and appropriate decisions were taken.
