On Saturday, 7/5/2022, the students of the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Ashur held a scientific activity to introduce the recently adopted keto diet in most countries of the world and to highlight its benefits and side effects accompanying its followers in addition to the permitted types and quantities. This activity comes within the great support given by the Dean of the University College of Assyria, Assistant Professor Dr. Kazem Aboud Al-Majidi, and supervised by the head of the department, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kazem Al-Araji. This activity was not the first for the Department of Pharmacy, as it was preceded by the activity of measuring blood pressure and diabetes. (Dr. Zeina Tariq), a teaching assistant in the department.
