Scientific Symposium
In the presence of the Associate Dean of the University College of Ashur, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Qassem Al-Lami, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kazem Al-Araji, the Department of Pharmacy held a scientific symposium on Tuesday 4/26/2022 entitled (History of Pharmacy) prepared and presented by M. Zahraa Bassem Muhammad, a lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy. The lecture talked about the history of the emergence of the profession of pharmacy, its stages of development and its most important scientists, and how the Greeks were interested in this profession, in addition to their interest in medicinal herbs and their cultivation in churches and monasteries until it reached the Arabs, and how the Arabs took care of it and its most important Arab scientists until it reached the present time.
The lecture was attended by a number of heads of departments, teaching staff of the Department of Pharmacy and students of the department.
