Scientific lecture

The professors of Ashur University College continue their scientific research, each according to his specialization, in order to serve the students, develop their scientific and mental capabilities, and raise the science in the college to high levels. The department gave a scientific lecture on Wednesday, corresponding to 4/6/2022, under the title (Classification of Medical Images in the Field of Machine Learning) delivered by (Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Jalil Jassim), the teaching assistant in the Pharmacy Department, and attended by the scientific assistant, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Qassem Al-Lami. Dr. Muzaffar spoke during the lecture The process of classifying and retrieval of medical images has an important role in diagnosing medical conditions and determining the appropriate treatment in a very short time. The techniques and processes used to obtain images of the human body or parts of it for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes is a branch of bio-imaging. At the end of the lecture, which won the approval of the honorable Dean, professors and students, who attended because of the great effort that included many important questions.
