Scientific seminar

In the presence of the Dean of the University College of Assyria, Assistant Professor Dr. Kazem Aboud Al-Majidi, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Faleh Hassan Al-Mousawi, the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques held on Sunday 27/3/2022 a scientific seminar entitled (Medical Herbs for the Treatment of Heart Diseases) presented by M.M (Zainab Samir) Teaching profession in the Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies, and the seminar, which was attended by the Associate Dean of the Scientific Prof. Dr. Ghassan Qassem Al-Lami and a number of teachers and students, included information on a number of local medicinal herbs, their nature, chemical composition and impact in treating heart diseases and suggested treatment methods that included adherence With a healthy diet and regular exercise, which can be considered the main treatment for heart disease. The lecturer also emphasized that medicinal herbs should not be taken at random except under the supervision of a specialized doctor. At the end of the seminar, the honorable Dean praised the efforts of the department chair and the lecturer after answering a number of questions from the audience .
