International Women's Day Celebration
Under the patronage of the Dean of the University College of Ashur, the respected Assistant Professor Dr. Kazem Aboud Al-Majidi, the Student Activities Division and the Women Empowerment Unit held a student celebration on the occasion of International Women’s Day, which falls on March 8, and was attended by the Associate Dean of Scientific Prof. Dr. Ghassan Al-Lami and a number of heads of departments and students. The ceremony shows the importance of the role of women in private and public life, as they are half of society, and because of their role in raising a good generation that works to serve the country. The college as a teaching and administrative staff in teaching and building an educated generation capable of serving the community in all fields. Ms. M. Amal Mahmoud Ali, responsible for the Women Empowerment Unit at the college, gave a speech in which she praised the efforts of the Deanship of the College in providing all kinds of support to women in order to develop their various capabilities and spoke about A number of creative women from the teaching and administrative staff. The celebration also included some poems that praised the role of women presented by one of the pharmacy students. Before the end of the celebration, the honorable Dean honored a number of the college’s women’s staff for their excellence and creativity at work, wishing them more
of brilliance and success.
