Poetry festival on the occasion of Army Day

In celebration of the one hundred and one anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi army on January 6, and under the patronage and presence of the Dean of the University College of Ashur, the esteemed Assistant Professor Dr. Kazem Abboud Al-Majidi, the Student Activities Division in the college held a poetry festival on Saturday, 1/8/2222, which began with the national anthem and any of the wise Quran and standing to read. Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs of the armed forces, after which the esteemed Brigadier General gave a valuable speech on this occasion, then the poets’ throats chanted from our dear students as they shared our armed forces their most glorious feast, and they remember the championships that these forces have played since its founding in 1921. In addition to the poems, the festival included some songs The festival was attended by the assistant scientific dean, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Qassem, and a number of heads of departments, teachers and students. The festival was at the level of memory, so that it won the audience’s approval.
