The lecture was attended by Ms. Nour Al-Huda Dia Kazem and the lecturer, Noor Al-Huda Ali Jawad, and attended by the Dean of the University College of Assyria, the esteemed Assistant Professor Dr. Kazem Aboud Al-Majidi, the Honorable Mr. Associate Dean, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Qassem Al-Lami, and a number of heads of departments, teachers and students. The symposium included an explanation of another Developments about the relationship between laboratory tests and their importance in diagnosing cases of infection with Covid-19 and evaluating the treatment used against the virus and how to differentiate between infection with normal influenza and the Corona virus if the patient has the same symptoms. In addition, the purpose of the symposium was to raise awareness about the infection with Covid and to confirm the role of laboratories in diagnosing the current epidemic. The symposium was well received by the audience through the discussions and questions raised in it, due to its importance as we are currently living through the spread of the epidemic. At the end of the symposium, Mr. Dean emphasized the necessity of holding more such symposiums.
