Ashur University College Council meeting
Ashur University College Council held its second session for the academic year 2021-2022 on Monday, 11/8/2021, headed by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Kazem Aboud Al-Majidi, in the presence of the Associate Dean of Scientific Prof. Dr. Ghassan Qassem and members of the Council. At the beginning of the session, Mr. Dean welcomed the esteemed Dean The attendees made a number of observations
It was as follows:
1- Emphasis on activating the college’s media through the heads of departments to support the media unit with all the activities carried out by their departments, whether scientific or cultural.
2- The heads of departments hold monthly meetings
With teaching staff and department councils.
3- The necessity of the heads of departments to work twinning with the corresponding colleges, as the Department of Dentistry did by twinning with the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad and twinning the Department of Pharmacy with the College of Pharmacy at Al-Mustansiriya University, as soon as possible, in implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
4- Emphasis on the completion of entering the grades and checking them in the Master's Sheet..., noting that most departments have completed their work.
5- The necessity of stabilizing the academic schedules for the current academic year.
6- Departments’ absence committees follow up on students’ absences from the first day of study and submit them to department heads daily.
7- Emphasis on the completion of the scientific plan and urging the teaching staff to present research and studies and to hold workshops and scientific seminars according to the plan set by the Deanship in agreement with the heads of departments.
After the above notes, the topics on the agenda were raised and appropriate decisions were taken.
