Awareness Seminar

The Department of Dentistry at the University of Ashur College held an awareness symposium on the benefits of early breast cancer screening on Tuesday, 2/11/2021, and was attended by the Dean of the Ashur University College, the esteemed Assistant Professor Dr. Dentistry, the medical team of the Ministry of Health and a number of interested people and students. At the beginning of the symposium, the lecturer, Dr. Sajid Hamid, director of the Antimicrobial Control Unit in the Salah al-Din Governorate Health Department spoke about the method of self-examination that a person performs by himself. The lecturer also emphasized On community awareness and healthy eating, especially vegetables, and visiting a specialist doctor every year or two for the purpose of reassurance about health. He also referred to the causes of the disease and ways to treat it. During the symposium, some questions were asked by the attendees, who praised the information contained in the lecture as it is of interest to human health. At the end of the symposium The honorable Dean presented a certificate of appreciation to the lecturer.
