The Deanship of the Ashur University College reaffirmed its commitment to the decisions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Crisis Cell in the Ministry of Health regarding the application of measures to prevent Corona virus in all scientific departments of the college.
The Dean of the Assyrian University College, Assistant Professor Dr. Kazem Issa Abboud said: The Dean of the College has been keen, since the beginning of the Corona pandemic crisis, to carry out periodic fogging campaigns for scientific laboratories, lecture halls and college corridors to prepare for the academic year (2020-2021) with the aim of preserving the health and safety of students, teaching and administrative staff After the start of the official working hours on 6/12/2020, the Deanship issued its directives to department heads, faculty, and students on the necessity of adhering to the decisions of the Ministry of Education and the Crisis Cell, which stipulate the necessity of wearing masks and ensuring social distancing inside and outside laboratories and halls and preventing student gatherings anywhere in the college.
The Dean of Assyria University added that the scientific departments in the college completed the weekly schedules of lessons and circulated them to students with the aim of facilitating the implementation of the blended education system approved by the Opinion Commission for the current academic year, indicating that a number of committees have been formed to follow up attendance and absenteeism and maintain the continuation of receiving electronic lectures, as well as On overcoming obstacles that may face students in their scientific career, in order to enable them to achieve excellence and success.
