Ashur University Council / Eighth Session for the year 2024/2025
The University of Ashur Council held its eighth session for the academic year 2024/2025 on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, headed by the respected University President, Professor Dr. Kazim Abboud Al-Majidi, and attended by the respected members of the Council. At the beginning of the session, the Council Chairman congratulated the Council members, and through them, the teaching and administrative staff, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, praying to God Almighty to bring it back to everyone with goodness, blessings, and prosperity. He also praised the efforts of the ministerial team and representatives of the deans' committees in following up on the assessment exams for the colleges and departments covered by them, and praised the efforts of the teaching staff and affiliates and their role in monitoring the exams and correcting the notebooks with all diligence and dedication. His Excellency emphasized the need to complete the exam results as soon as possible and urged all colleges and departments to follow up on the electronic clearance certificate and pay attention to the Bologna process, as it is essential to raising educational standards, coordinating between academic circles and the needs of the labor market, and modernizing and developing higher education systems at public and private universities. His Excellency also emphasized the handling of cases in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, within a ceiling not exceeding (5) points.
Following these strict directives, the topics included on the Council's meeting agenda were discussed, and appropriate decisions were taken. Department of Media and Government Communication
