Professor Dr. Kadhum Abboud Al-Majidi, President of Ashur University, participated in the work of the first meeting to establish a national center for artificial intelligence that would control data, including smart agriculture, provided that the servers remain inside Iraq and create a platform to review academic research related to artificial intelligence and benefit from the expertise of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and international organizations operating in Iraq and the region regarding smart agriculture, and to consider the experiences of neighboring countries in transforming agricultural universities into smart agriculture universities. This came according to the Diwani Order No. 241339.
