Scientific symposium entitled "Our architecture...our identity"

The Department of Architecture at Ashur University, at the invitation of the Department of Architecture at Ashur University, and within the context of scientific cooperation with the twinning university (Department of Architecture at Al-Mustansiriya University), organized a scientific symposium entitled "Our Architecture... Our Identity". The symposium was held in the Department of Architecture at Al-Mustansiriya University on Tuesday 12/3/2024. The symposium was attended by Professor Dr. Dean of the College of Engineering at Al-Mustansiriya University, Professor Dr. Dean of the College of Engineering at Ashur University, the Scientific Assistant and the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the College of Engineering at Al-Mustansiriya University, Dr. Nabil Al-Bayati, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering at Ashur University, the Head of the Department of Architecture Engineering, and a number of faculty members from the departments of architecture engineering from the two universities. The symposium included a lecture given by Prof. Dr. Qabila Faris Hamoud, Head of the Department of Architecture at Ashur University, a lecture given by Assistant Lecturer Aswar Abdul Rahman, a faculty member in the Department of Architecture at Ashur University, and a discussion session. The symposium began with a speech by the Head of the Department of Architecture at Al-Mustansiriya University. Students from the Department of Architecture at Ashur University attended, along with students from Al-Mustansiriya University, where an exhibition of architecture students’ projects is being held in conjunction with the symposium.
