Under the patronage of Dr. Abdul Razzaq Al-Majidi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ashur University, and with the follow-up and support of Dr. Kazem Abboud Al-Majidi, President of Ashur University, the Martyr of the Resistance, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah Championship for popular teams, which is held on the grounds of the College of Physical Education at Ashur University. Al-Waziriyah team defeats Abu Ghraib to qualify for the quarter-final match to meet Al-Ameriya. Al-Krayat team qualified after defeating Palestine Street to meet the Cairo team in the quarter-final match.
