Under the generous patronage of Prof. Dr. Kadhum Abboud Al-Majidi, President of Ashur University, the table tennis and badminton championships concluded, resulting in the victory of the student Ali Saad from Civil Engineering in first place after defeating the student Ali Sabah from Pharmacy, who in turn won second place, while the student Youssef Mohammed from Physical Education and Sports Sciences won third place, and fourth place went to Ali Adel from Physical Education as well, and fifth place went to the student Musab Mutasher from Dentistry. In the female students’ championship, the student of Device Technology Engineering, Zahraa Salah, won first place, while her colleague, Shahd Haitham, won second place, and the student of Dentistry, Alaa Diaa, won third place, and the student, Maryam Mohammed Abdul-Ridha, also from Dentistry, won fourth place. At the end of the championship, the President of Ashur University distributed appreciation awards to the female and male students who won the first five places.
