Ashur University Football Championship Opening Carnival

Today, Monday, 2/26/2024, the opening carnival of the Ashur University Football Championship was held, in which twelve colleges participated. The representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Ammar Al-Zaidi, Director of the Student Activities Department, also participated in the opening ceremony. The opening of the program began with the recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, then the recitation of the national anthem. After that, the participants chanted the sports oath. After that, the referee of the Union, Ahmed Adnan, blew the whistle to open the championship between the College of Technical Engineering and the College of Medicine, which ended in favor of Technical Engineering.
