Al-Isra University held its first scientific conference, which bore the slogan (Cyber ​​Defense in Iraq), under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ashur University, Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Jabr Al-Majidi, and in the presence of the representative of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Salah Al-Fatlawi, the respected Chairman of the Supervision and Evaluation Authority, the President of Ashur University, Professor Dr. Kazim Abboud Al-Majidi, and the respected members of the House of Representatives, university presidents, deans of governmental and private colleges, and representatives of security ministries in a wonderful scientific atmosphere that opened with a speech by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ashur University, Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Jabr Al-Majidi, who presented a strategic vision on the importance of a strategic partnership between academic institutions and security ministries in the field of cybersecurity, followed by a speech by the representative of His Excellency the Minister, followed by the start of the conference work by presenting the speakers who gave valuable lectures, followed by a dialogue session that concluded the agenda of the first cybersecurity conference.
