A scientific workshop on the types of drugs and psychotropic substances

The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Ashur University, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Kazim Abboud Al-Majidi, President of Ashur University, held a scientific workshop on the types of drugs and psychotropic substances, delivered by the Brigadier General, Director General of Drug and Psychotropic Substances Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, followed by a lecture on community security delivered by Major General Dr. Ahmed Al-Sudani, Secretary of the Minister of Interior. This workshop comes in implementation of the recommendations of the President of the University in cooperation with the ministries to enhance culture and community security and increase the awareness of our dear students of the dangers caused by drugs to health and mental capabilities and the role of the student in promoting peace and security in the university and Iraqi society through constructive cooperation between him and the security services concerned with peace and enhancing security and stability for all. The workshop was attended by Brigadier General Nabil Mutlaq Nasser, Director of Physical Training and Police Games, the Administrative Assistant of our university, the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, some college professors and the teaching staff of our college, and a large gathering of students and employees of the Diwan Affairs at the university.
