We would like to inform you that, God willing, and with the efforts of the Dean of Ashur University College, the approval of His Excellency the Honorable Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research has been obtained to create the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Ashur University College, starting from the academic year 2021-2022.
The department accepts graduates of the preparatory school in the applied biology and scientific branches.
The study in this department takes five years to obtain a bachelor's degree in order to graduate a medical engineer who works in various fields of medical engineering and plays his role in building society.
Biomedical engineering is one of the latest engineering sciences that has arisen with the development of modern medicine. After the doctor was alone in performing all the tasks of diagnosis and treatment, and even the manufacture of medicine, the medical device designed and manufactured by the medical engineer in my life became an essential substitute for the doctor in diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and diagnostic and therapeutic intervention for the patient.
