The College of Science at Ashur University was established following the transformation of Ashur University College into Ashur University, based on the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on September 5, 2023. The College comprises three scientific departments: the Department of Life Sciences, the Department of Cybersecurity, and the Department of Medical Physics. The College is committed to providing specialized professional programs that meet national and regional needs, equipping students with the knowledge and training required to efficiently enter the labor market or successfully pursue postgraduate studies. It also works diligently to develop and update its programs in line with the evolving needs of society and its stakeholders. Furthermore, the College encourages both basic and applied research that contributes to scientific advancement, improves the utilization of natural resources, and enhances national productivity.
