Ashur University Discusses Preparations for Student Activities for the 2026–2027 Academic Year

At the start of the 2026–2027 academic year, the President of Ashur University, Prof. Dr. Kadhim Abboud Al-Majidi, held an extensive meeting attended by the University President’s Assistant for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Rafea Al-Kubaisi, along with representatives from the Student Activities Department, the Media and Government Communication Department, and college deans. The meeting focused on discussing preparations and plans for student activities for the new academic year.

The meeting addressed mechanisms for activating sports, artistic, cultural, and scouting activities, as well as volunteer work. It also emphasized boosting student participation to help develop their capabilities and talents while fostering a spirit of teamwork and a sense of belonging to the university.

The University President underscored the importance of collaborative efforts between departments and colleges, as well as the provision of necessary support to ensure the success of student activities and events, thereby securing a distinguished presence for Ashur University in university-level competitions and engagements.
