Ashur University… Sports are a way of life, and excellence is our goal.

Under the patronage of the President of Ashur University, Prof. Dr. Kadhim Abboud Al-Majidi, and in coordination with the Media and Government Communication Department, the Student Activities Department—in collaboration with the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences—organized a diverse sports festival to mark the International Day of University Sport. The event featured various sports activities and the raising of the Iraqi flag to signal the start of the academic year, all amidst an atmosphere of great enthusiasm, interaction, and student participation.

This festival underscores Ashur University’s commitment to university sports and highlights their role in fostering vitality and energy, as well as building a spirit of cooperation and healthy competition among students.
