Ashur University Council Meeting - Sixth Session for the Academic Year 2025/2026

The University Council held its regular meeting for the sixth session of the 2025/2026 academic year, chaired by the Council President, Professor Dr. Kadhim Aboud Al-Majidi, and attended by the esteemed members of the Council.

- The Council President began by extending his warmest congratulations and best wishes to the university community on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Ghadir.

- The Council President then commended the efforts of the faculty and examination committees in completing the first-round examinations for the second semester for post-secondary levels, as well as the formative assessments for some departments for the 2025/2026 academic year.

- He also emphasized the importance of maintaining this momentum in completing the second phase of the duties assigned to the examination committees and teaching staff, which is the completion of the examinations for first-year students for this academic year as well. - In conclusion, the Chairman of the Council stressed the need to observe public safety requirements and to be prepared to implement maintenance and rehabilitation campaigns during the summer vacation with the aim of improving the university environment and developing the infrastructure in the university’s colleges and departments.
