Department of Dental Techniques - Message and objectives

Mission: Preparing specialized graduates to provide medical and healthcare services to the community in the field of dental technology, including orthodontics, the fabrication of fixed and removable dental prostheses, and maxillofacial prosthetics. This is achieved through scientific knowledge and practical experience gained during the four academic years spent by the student in this department. Aims: Preparing specialized technical staff in the field of designing, manufacturing, and fitting artificial dental prostheses and other oral structures. Supplying the community with graduates who possess both theoretical scientific knowledge and practical experience in dental technology. Equipping students with up-to-date expertise that keeps pace with advancements in dental technology and techniques. Preparing graduates with comprehensive and detailed knowledge of modern dental implant technologies. Providing students with sufficient skills to implement necessary updates in dental technology. Expanding vertically toward establishing postgraduate programs (Master’s and PhD) in this field. The department strives and exerts all efforts to achieve international quality standards within the available resources.
