Mission ​Qualifying graduates to work efficiently in ophthalmology hospitals and specialized health centers. ​Ensuring graduates are capable of performing with high-quality education and proficient skills in the fields of vision correction. ​Determining visual acuity, managing strabismus, recommending lens types, and manufacturing ocular alternatives. ​Objectives  ​Preparing specialized cadres in optical techniques for vision screening and strabismus management.  ​Proposing lens types and manufacturing prosthetic eyes and alternatives.  ​Operating in optical workshops for spectacle assembly and utilizing medical software in vision assessment.  ​Prescribing medical eyeglasses, contact lenses, and various optical alternatives.  ​Maintaining and repairing optical medical equipment through continuous curriculum development by academic faculty to serve the community’s needs.
