The mission of the Central Library of Ashur University is to support the academic process by guiding and assisting students and researchers in accessing, understanding, and retrieving information effectively, in alignment with the university’s mission in education, scientific research, and community service. To provide an integrated knowledge environment that enables access to various print and digital information resources in support of the educational and research process. To enhance the role of the library as an intellectual and cultural information center that goes beyond the traditional concept of a place for storing books, by organizing cultural and scientific events and activities that contribute to the development of students’ and users’ knowledge. To serve the academic community with diverse resources, including books, journals, periodicals, and research materials, in addition to providing a digital library that facilitates easy access to information. To support users across various disciplines by equipping the library with up-to-date and diverse resources acquired through donations or purchases, in a way that meets the needs of students and faculty members. To contribute to the development of information literacy through training and orientation programs that help users efficiently access, evaluate, and utilize information resources in scientific research.
