The Department of Studies and Planning is considered one of the most important administrative departments at the university level, due to its pivotal role in ensuring the sustainability of a solid academic, research, and institutional environment. This, in turn, aims to elevate the university to the highest ranks among national and regional university classifications.This department was established in 2018 and began carrying out its assigned responsibilities, including conducting studies related to the work of various university entities, as well as planning for the optimal management of human resources and infrastructure. The Department of Studies and Planning serves as the starting point in knowledge management and keeping pace with scientific development. It performs a strategic role by providing data and statistics about the university, its colleges, and affiliated centers. In addition, it formulates short-, medium-, and long-term strategic plans, supported by comprehensive statistics and data covering all university formations.The department is also responsible for developing annual student admission plans in line with labor market requirements, as well as establishing new departments, branches, and scientific colleges to advance the current situation, keep up with development, and meet society’s needs for qualified professionals and specialists in various fields of knowledge.The department consists of three main administrative divisions: the Planning Division, the Statistics Division, and the Data and Informatics Division.
