Our college strives to prepare students academically and professionally to become qualified physicians capable of working in the institutions of the Iraqi Ministry of Health. This is achieved by equipping them with the latest medical knowledge and essential clinical experience, while developing their practical skills in a way that ensures the integration of the three fundamental pillars of learning: theoretical knowledge, clinical practice, and humanistic and ethical values. Through these foundations, we aim to graduate a new generation of doctors who are well-armed with knowledge, professionalism, and a strong commitment to serving humanity and society. The Deanship of the college also aims to enhance the capabilities of young faculty members, contributing to the development of a distinguished academic staff that stays up to date with the latest advancements in various medical sciences. We encourage them to actively engage in scientific research and knowledge dissemination, benefiting from the accumulated teaching experience within the college and through collaboration with other medical colleges in Iraq, as well as with specialist physicians in healthcare institutions. Our college is committed to adhering to the laws, regulations, and instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It also enjoys special support from the Presidency of Ashur University, represented by the respected University President, as it is the only private college of medicine in Baghdad. The college has adopted a modern integrated curriculum in cooperation with the esteemed College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad. This partnership serves as a continuous motivation to improve the quality of performance and raise the college’s academic ranking by developing both theoretical and clinical curricula in line with global scientific advancements and in response to the needs and future aspirations of the local community.
