The Department of Medical Physics at the College of Science, Ashur University, welcomes you to a place where knowledge and science converge with the medical field, diagnostic methods, and treatments. Established in the 2023/2024 academic year, the Department of Medical Physics offers courses that make you part of the college family and an integral part of the educational and learning environment we aspire to be among the most advanced and dynamic in higher education in Iraq. Medical physics is studied in specialized laboratories and classrooms equipped to the highest standards, keeping pace with scientific advancements. The university has also invested extensively in distinguished faculty members and specialists from both within Iraq and abroad in modern technology sectors. Students are awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Physics after four years of study, with two semesters per year. The program integrates the principles and laws of physics with modern technologies used in medicine. Believing in fostering collaboration between institutions, the college has established close ties with leading institutions and companies in our field. Numerous activities will take place across the campus, alongside other initiatives in the local and global community.
